You’ve been invited to WomanAid Club — a mutual support community where self-care turns into safety and growth. Right now, you can go through a short starter program: get to know WomanAid, complete a strengths questionnaire, and understand what resonates with you most.
Next — access to the club’s online programs: career • confidence • boundaries • safety.
At your own pace, with no obligations.
A small step today is stronger than a perfect plan “someday.”
At WomanAid, there is a plan and support — already now.
What does WomanAid Club offer
WomanAid Club is a place where you are not alone — and where you gain a clear plan: real-life safety + inner support + practical experience.
We bring together three things in one space:
Safety: safety scenarios in the WomanAid Safety app that you can apply immediately for personal safety.
Support: short practices and checklists to make it easier to act when you feel anxious.
Experience: mini-projects around WomanAid, so you gain real material for your portfolio.
Start at your own pace: safety • growth • recognition.
See how a product is born — and try yourself in small roles. This is a format that can realistically be combined with studies.
You gain hands-on experience in building and working with a product and a community — without time pressure and without overload.
What you will do:
- analyze real WomanAid cases: what to improve and why;
- try yourself in small roles (content, community, research, UX logic, ambassador);
- receive clear feedback: what you do best and where to grow next.
Format: short tasks • clear examples • support in a safe environment.
🎓 Professional lift
If you go deeper into the programs and take on practical tasks, you can build materials for your portfolio.
Top Contributors (active participants) may receive:
- a participation/contribution certificate (based on results);
- a recommendation letter upon request, describing your contribution and skills;
- priority access to internal opportunities (pilot roles / mini-internships / project tasks) when they open.
This is not a job guarantee, but a transparent path: you did the work → you have proof.
💎 Emeralds reward system
We value your contribution — and recognize progress. Starting from the second online program, you can earn Emeralds for completed steps and meaningful activity.
How it works:
- you complete tasks / participate in activities → you earn Emeralds;
- Emeralds can be exchanged for bonuses: access, discounts / partner offers (as they become available), merchandise;
- your progress is visible to you — without public pressure or “competition.”
Philosophy: gentle motivation for real steps — without a “race” and without pressure.
Your first step in WomanAid
The starter online program “Getting started with WomanAid | for Girls — Student Program” is a gentle entry into WomanAid without pressure.
5 blocks of 20 minutes, at a time that suits you.
No calls. No obligations.
You choose your own pace.
You’ll get Premium access to WomanAid Safety for 6 months (save up to €30) and will be able to set up safety features for yourself and your loved ones — for real life, not “someday.”
Unlocking career opportunities
The first program is your entry into WomanAid Club through practice: mini-tasks and projects around the product and the community.
You choose what to take part in and complete the steps at a pace that works for you — so it fits alongside your studies.
Referral program bonus Emeralds
For completed steps and meaningful activity, you’ll earn Emeralds. Your first ones come right after you start, with regular rewards beginning from the 2nd program. You can then exchange them for bonuses (as they become available).
What does the participation process look like?
What awaits you in the first program?
Immersion into the WomanAid philosophy.
Here, safety is not about fear, but about the freedom to act and feel supported.
You will understand:
- how technology can truly help in everyday life;
- what WomanAid is built on: care, dignity, and the right to choose;
- what role you can take in the community — without pressure and without “be perfect.”
No complicated instructions — everything step by step.
Right in the module, you set up WomanAid Safety and your Safety Scenarios for different locations: home, outdoors, university.
As a result:
- you get clear “what to do if…” scenarios — without overthinking;
- scenarios automatically change depending on where you are;
- trusted contacts receive a signal and clear instructions if you need help.
This is not a test and not an evaluation.
It’s a quick way to understand what you’re truly good at — and where to move next.
After this block:
- you’ll see your strengths;
- we’ll suggest programs and tasks that give you energy instead of draining it;
- you’ll be able to strengthen what already works — instead of “breaking yourself.”
Click “Go to program” — the starter program page will open.
There you’ll see a brief overview of what’s inside and a “Join” button to begin.
2
Join the program
Click “Join” and choose a convenient sign-in method.
This is not “just a formality”, but so that:
- your progress is saved,
- your personal account is unlocked,
- you can continue from any device — whenever it suits you.
We don’t create public profiles. Your progress is for you only.
3
Go at your own pace
Complete the steps when it feels right for you.
After each step, click “Complete Step”, and your progress is saved.
You can stop at any time and come back later — the program doesn’t “expire” and doesn’t pressure you with notifications.
Everything is at your own pace.
What happens next?
After completing the starter online program “Getting started with WomanAid | for Girls — Student Program” you choose how to move forward — at your own pace.
Real experience instead of theory
After the starter program, you can explore FemTech “from the inside” — through small tasks that genuinely help the product and the community.
You don’t need to be an expert: we provide context, templates, and support.
You will try:
understanding how WomanAid solves real problems (scenarios, situations, user value);
choosing a direction based on your interests: Product / Research / Content / Community;
completing a short “mission” and seeing a tangible result (insight, improvement, feedback).
Format: short steps of 20–30 minutes, at your own pace. You can also just learn — without taking on tasks.
+1 step toward your career
From Level 2, you can start building real portfolio cases: completed tasks, mini-projects, contributions to the product or the community. This is something you can genuinely show in your CV / LinkedIn / during interviews.
For active participants, the following are available:
a certificate of participation/contribution;
a recommendation letter upon request — describing your tasks and skills;
priority access to internal project roles and mini-internships when they open.
Important: this is not a “job guarantee.” It’s a fair system: you did the work → you have proof.
Visible Progress + Emerald Rewards
To make it easier not to drop out halfway, we have Emeralds — bonus points for contribution and consistency.
What Emeralds are awarded for:
completed program steps and missions;
consistency and level completion;
helping the community (supporting newcomers, providing helpful answers);
initiative in projects (if you participate).
What you can exchange them for:
WomanAid and partner bonuses (access, offers, discounts, merch) — the list expands as the club grows.
Important: Emeralds are not money and not an “investment.” It’s a voluntary motivation system: if you want — you participate; if you want — you complete the programs without it.
Your information in WomanAid is protected from third parties
We understand that safety topics are often very personal. That’s why WomanAid Club is a closed space, and WomanAid Safety operates in compliance with GDPR (European data protection regulations). Privacy is overseen by a DPO — a data protection specialist. Here’s how the protection works:
🛡 Closed environment (No Outsiders)
Your learning is your personal space. Only you can see your progress and list of programs. Mentors see only what is necessary to review assignments. Closed sections are not indexed by search engines and are accessible only after login. If someone shares other people’s information from closed groups outside, their access to the club is revoked and access to their personal account is suspended.
🎭 Visibility Control and Support
You can be among “your people” without being “on stage.” If you want — you can interact in closed groups. If you don’t — you can go through the program quietly. The club has a CODE OF ETHICS and confidentiality: respect, zero judgment, zero toxicity. We stand for a supportive atmosphere: questions are okay, pauses are okay, your own pace is okay.
🔐 Technical data protection
WomanAid Club is connected to a mobile safety app for women and girls, so data in the WomanAid Safety app is protected at the device level. Even if someone takes your phone, sensitive sections (files/journal) are locked with a password that only you know, and the main app screen can look like a game, hiding its real purpose. You decide what to store and what to keep only for yourself.
Frequently asked questions
The program is self-paced: you can complete one step at a time whenever it’s convenient. After each completed step, your progress is saved, so you can continue later from where you left off.
No. The starting steps are designed to help you get into the topic without a technical background. You’ll learn the basic logic of the product, tasks, and approaches—skills that are useful for marketing, communications, design, management, and research as well.
This is not an abstract course or theory “for the sake of a checkbox.” From the very first program, you dive into the topic of personal safety for women and girls through real-life scenarios: university, the way home, public places, and evening movement around the city.
You don’t just read materials—you go through practical steps that help you understand how a safety system works and how to use it in real life. As part of the program, you also receive premium access to the WomanAid app, which strengthens your everyday safety both on campus and beyond.
As a result, you’re left not with a “completed course,” but with real understanding of safety scenarios, personal experience, and tools you start using during your studies and daily routines.
No—there is no mandatory “public” participation. Most of the program is completed individually, at your own pace. You choose your level of involvement: observing, completing tasks, or joining communication.
For example, in the future you can contribute in ways that don’t require public visibility at all—such as supporting a regional community as an administrator, working in research and studies, product analytics, marketing, or other roles that happen behind the scenes.
Registration and sign-in are needed to provide simple and secure access to your personal account, so that:
• your progress is saved and bonuses are accumulated,
• you have your own WomanAid Club dashboard,
• you can continue from any device.
If privacy is important to you (which is the norm in Europe), keep in mind that registration is used specifically to preserve your progress and personal account. All details about data processing are transparently described in the project’s Privacy Policy and are overseen by the DPO.
All entry-level online programs of the WomanAid Club are free and available with no hidden fees. Access to programs is unlocked step by step, based on completed levels and your progress.
As you move forward, your level of participation grows, opening access to more advanced learning and engagement formats. Higher-level programs involve deeper immersion and responsibility, along with expanded opportunities: the Emeralds reward system, internship or volunteer hours (where available), and the chance to join the WomanAid impact team.
You always know the terms in advance—the structure of levels and opportunities is transparent and clear.
No. There is no required pace, competition, or grading in the WomanAid Club. You can pause at any time—your progress is saved, and you can continue later when you have the time or energy. For a student balancing studies, part-time work, and exams, this is completely normal.
Sometimes we run programs as online marathons with set timeframes. These activities are announced in advance, and participation is optional—you decide for yourself whether the format and timing work for you.
No. To participate in the first program, you don’t need to invite anyone or sell anything. The program format focuses on learning, practice, and gaining experience in women’s safety and FemTech.
The option to receive a personal referral link is available only to participants who consciously choose this path and complete a separate online program — WomanAid Ambassador Program: Lead, Earn & Empower. This program explains in detail how to talk about WomanAid in a respectful and ethical way, who it is appropriate to share it with, in which situations, and through which channels — always prioritizing the safety and well-being of women and girls, and ensuring communication is responsible and effective.
Participation in the ambassador program is voluntary and becomes available starting from Level 2, after completing the Level 1 program. At Level 1, you get acquainted with the WomanAid philosophy, products, and approach to women’s safety, and you gain a clearer understanding of your own strengths, interests, and abilities.
Only after that — if you choose — can you move on to the WomanAid Ambassador Program: Lead, Earn & Empower. This structure is intentional, so that ambassador roles are taken on by participants who truly understand the project’s values and know how to speak about safety thoughtfully, ethically, and responsibly.
The most valuable thing for a student is not abstract “motivation,” but verifiable experience. Through participation, you learn how product and team tasks are structured and can clearly describe your contribution—what you worked on and which skills you developed. This directly helps when applying for internships, entry-level roles, and during interviews.
If you demonstrated sufficient engagement, reached a level that includes practical professional tasks, internship-style or practice-based formats, and successfully completed the programs at that level, the WomanAid team may provide a recommendation letter for employers and confirm your contribution on professional platforms such as LinkedIn.
Participation in WomanAid Club programs does not constitute employment and does not create labor or agency relationships. All tasks are completed in an educational and practice-oriented format. Recommendation letters confirm participation and acquired skills, not employment status.
In most online programs, the key parts are designed so they can be completed even with a basic language level: short texts, clear steps, and a structured format. You can also work through the tasks at your own pace and return to the wording whenever you need.
No, there are no mandatory calls. The core format is asynchronous, so time zone differences are not an issue—you go through the program when it’s convenient for you.
If live online activities are held, they are optional and join-by-choice only. Most communication happens in written format. In closed groups, participants may also suggest online meetups themselves; these are always discussed in advance and take place on a voluntary basis.
Participation in the program doesn’t require you to already be a “finished expert.” On the contrary, the program is designed to help you better understand your strengths and areas of interest, and to use your energy in the most effective way—for yourself and for the WomanAid project.
In the first online program, we ask questions about what genuinely interests you, what comes more easily to you, and what brings you satisfaction. This helps shape your next steps so you work on tasks that match your natural inclinations, rather than pushing yourself through constant effort.
This approach helps prevent burnout and makes participation meaningful: you don’t have to adapt yourself to the format—instead, you grow in a direction that suits you and where you can be valuable both to yourself and to the community.
This is a valid and important request—and for us, it’s foundational. In the WomanAid Club, there is no culture of being “online 24/7,” no comparison with others, and no pressure because of pauses. You choose your own pace, level of involvement, and format of participation, and your progress is always saved.
We intentionally build a healthy and safe environment. For WomanAid, this is not marketing—it’s the core of our approach. The project grew out of the topic of women’s safety, and the same principles are carried into learning and community work. In the corporate direction, WomanAid Sencia, these principles are applied to the workplace as well—without gender-based violence, bullying, or harassment.
All of this is formalized in the WomanAid Club Code of Conduct:
• respect for personal boundaries,
• zero tolerance for toxic behavior,
• voluntary participation in activities,
• safe and clear ways to ask for support.
This means you take part in a space where safety, respect, and psychological comfort matter more than speed or performative activity.
Most often, this happens because you signed up using one method (Google, Facebook, or email) and are now trying to log in with a different one.
Here’s what you can do step by step:
1. Check which email you used during registration.
After registering and starting the first online program, you usually receive a welcome email from WomanAid. Open your inbox and try searching for WomanAid.
2. If you find the email, use that same email to log in.
Go to the WomanAid Club member area:
👉 https://www.womanaid.club/members-area/(https://www.womanaid.club/members-area/)
and sign in using the same email or the same login method you used when registering.
3. If you don’t see any emails from WomanAid, try a different login method.
For example, if you’re not sure you registered with email, try signing in via Google or Facebook—whichever you may have used initially.
If you still can’t log in, it’s usually resolved by identifying the correct sign-in method. Your data and progress are safe and not lost.
